What is this, anyway?

IdHOP News is something that started in June of 2000. It is the only news source you need, since the editors have already filtered out all the stupid stuff that they show on the 6 o'clock news and print in the newspapers. This is real news. Since it's IdHOP news, after all, anything about IdHOP gets put in the news, as well as most Tursiops Truncatus Software news. And various other tidbits from our personal lives, since we're important people, and if we try something new for breakfast or do something else mundane, it's still news, and we report it.

IdHOP News is reported biweekly, weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, depending on how often we feel like writing. If it came out at a regular time, it wouldn't be Random IdHOP News, now, would it? You can read the online archives if you want, or you can subscribe to it via your e-mail box or your handheld devices. Whatever floats your boat.

Each issue comes in two formats: HTML and UTF-8. The UTF-8 version is its original format, which might include extended, non-English characters. You might need to do something special to rig up your browser to read them. The HTML version uses your basic Latin-1 character set and has links activated and some pretty formatting, but occasionally loses something in the translation from Unicode. Your choice.

One last thing... it's only fair to warn you that the IdHOP News content is a couple notches less wholesome than the standard IdHOP content.
