Unseen (formerly titled "Aura") is an experimental puzzle game where the you must navigate through trap-riddled mazes. The catch is that you are blind, and must rely exclusively on your sense of hearing to survive.

I believe the technical term is "development hell."

After floundering about for a couple more years, work on Unseen was once again suspended in the summer of 2009 to focus on iPhone development. Waning enthusiasm for the project combined with an ever-changing landscape of operating systems and hardware to test for eventually wore things down and put Aura in a coma. A shame, really.

Once we get some iPhone development completed, we will be investigating a 2011 release via online distributors such as Steam or Greenhouse; if that falls through, we are no longer ruling out the possibility of dumping the unfinished product out on the curb of the Internet and letting people snatch it up for free.

To install:

1. Unzip the contents of aura094.zip into a new folder. Winzip users should not use wizard mode to do this, as it will delete everything you just installed.
2. Check the readme.htm if you need further instructions.

Version 0.9.4 was designed to work on the kinds of computers we had in 2003. A lot has changed since then and we provide no guarantee that it will work or even that it will not make your computer collapse into a black hole.
